Tyler Keys is 5 years old and attends Great Dunmow Primary School. A few weeks ago, during a routine eye test, he was sent to A and E where after a series of tests, a cancerous brain tumour was detected. Within days the brain tumour was successfully removed. However, on further tests, Tyler was diagnosed with a rare kind of carcinoma called choroid plexus carcinoma (stage 3). He's going to need 9 months of chemo for sure and possibly Radiotherapy and this will all be at GOSH hospital.

Tyler will have 5 consecutive days treatment, then 16 days break, then back for 5 and so on for the next 9 months. Tyler has just had a Subcutaneous Port fitted, which will be his permanent access for whilst he has his treatment.

The next 9 months (and beyond) are going to be very tough for Tyler and his family and we want the family not to have to worry about money whilst Tyler is receiving his treatment.
