Tyler Johns’ Medical Bills

Hey everyone!

This is our Nephew, Tyler Johns. He is a 20y/o and on Monday, 4/22/24, he was in an accident in which he suffered a below the knee amputation of his left leg. He is currently at the Med Center in Omaha and had a second surgery on 4/25/24. We are waiting for the doctors’ update on 4/29/24, and hoping he does not need another surgery next week.

He is a young kid full of life and passion, pursuing his dream of becoming a firefighter. He had an interview scheduled with the Bellevue Fire Department two days after his accident. He was getting closer to achieving his goal, but now all that will have to be on hold for a while. 

At this time, he needs help with his immediate bills and medical bills so he can focus on healing and rehab. Doctors have said that his rehab can take up to a year, but he set his own goal that he will be back to work and being active in 10 months or less. If you know Tyler, you know that he will do it because he is strong, motivated, and driven. Tyler’s dream of becoming a firefighter is as strong now as it was before his accident.

Normally, Tyler would be hanging out with friends, playing football, or watching sports (specifically Nebraska football)! He loves fishing, working on things, and being outdoors.
