My name is Taylor, and on September 12th, 2025, my twin brother, Tyler, suffered from a catastrophic seizure that left him without oxygen for a prolonged amount of time, leaving him with severe brain trauma. On September 15th, 2025, after days of being held and loved by his family and friends, he passed away at 7 a.m.

Only weeks prior to this tragic event, our father, Marty Gates, was diagnosed with stage four cancer. He’s gearing up to start the intense process of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, with a good prognosis, but many hard weeks ahead.

In honor of Tyler, my family would like to purchase a headstone and burial plot so that loved ones can visit him for years and years to come.

I’m seeking donations to help cover the costs of his tragic loss, and anything above our goal will go to his tribute concert, celebration of life event, and helping Marty and Lisa through these next few months.
