My name is Chrissie Weston. I’ve survived 2 homes and land being burnt down, along with my Aunt losing her home in the nearby Camp Fire.

I am creating this fundraiser for the son of my “sissy” Lisa Berg. She and her sister Kari helped me survive both my family fires. Lisa has lived in Maui for years and years and years. Tyler, her son, needs our help. see his story below.

It meant the world to us when we were in his shoes.

Tyler grew up in Chico and attended Citrus Elementary School. From there he moved to Santa Rosa, then Maui.

Tyler was a resident manager of a vacation rental complex in Lahaina. After getting many residents and visitors out safely, he drove out through flames with only his dog, Petrie! We are proud of his heroic efforts.

His complex is gone. He has nothing. He is sleeping in a borrowed vehicle. His mom and step dad, Gary, have a home in Honokowai, but they are currently unable to get to it since there is no power or phone service. All roads are closed.
