Hey everyone, hope this message reaches you in the best circumstances. My stepbrother Tyler and my family is in a time of need and we are asking everyone for some help. Tyler has a very rare case of children's cancer that started when he was only 3 years old called Astrocytoma(he is 27 now). He had brain surgery at 3 and then again at 6. At that time he had a stroke on the operating table and had to relearn how to walk, talk and even eat. Now over 20 years later these Astrocytomas (brain tumors) they are coming back with a vengeance and the doctor said a 3rd brain surgery is paramount. Obviously any brain surgery is very risky but this being the third, the risk is even higher and honestly we are very scared. My Father and Stepmother are having to travel to Tennessee back and forth for the surgeries, PT and follow ups he will need to make all of this happen. Not the farthest trip but they will need help with lodging, food and some medical bills that may not be covered. My father also works for himself and will not be able to work for atleast 2 weeks and will Obviously put them behind on bills etc. None of us know what the future may hold but I ask that if anyone can help we would greatly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. My Dad and stepmother are 2 of the most giving people I know and never ask anyone for help (they didn't even want me to make this) but they truly need help with this unfortunate situation. My dad and also myself are both army veterans but unfortunately my dad doesn't qualify for VA care which would normally help out in these circumstances. I know we are coming up on the holidays here but we appreciate greatly any help that is given. Love you all very much and thanks in advance!
