On Wednesday, May 14th, Tyler and Dara Horn were working when a hole collapsed on them. Thankfully, the landowner was there to call 911 and start to dig them out. With the help of many and the great first responders of Butte County, they were able to get both of them out. They were taken to Spearfish where Tyler was discharged, but Dara was transported to Rapid City.

Tyler is in an immense amount of pain and we are still waiting for answers on his injuries.

Dara is still in the ICU in Rapid City. She has 15 broken ribs, 1 broken collarbone, a collapsed lung, and a lung contusion. She just went into surgery to have a metal plate put in her rib cage, a chest tube, and a breathing tube.

Dara and Tyler both have a long recovery ahead and will be out of work for some time.
