As much as it pains me to ask for help, I can no longer do this on my own. Tyke was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. It is a very deadly cancerous disease and he is in stage 3. If he is not treated, he may only have a few weeks left to live. His best chance of survival is with chemotherapy, which will cost me $700 a week for 2 months and then $700 every other week for 4 months. This totals to approximately $11,200 for his treatment, given that nothing goes wrong.

$700 a week is more than I’m making, even with 2 jobs. Due to covid, I have lost many customers and am making about half what I was before. Although the cost seems impossible, I can’t give up on my dog.

Tyke recently had abdominal surgery to remove a lump that was causing him problems. That surgery cost me $6000. It also cost me $3000 to run the lymphoma tests. I wanted to be able to pay for his medical expenses by myself because I felt it was the responsible thing to do, but I’m out of options.

Tyke means the world to me. When I adopted him, he had severe separation anxiety. I changed career paths and started working at a doggy daycare to spend more time with him. After the daycare closed, I created my doggy hiking business to be able to work in an environment that could include Tyke. He has made the biggest impact on my life and has aided with my mental health problems. If I didn’t have him, I possibly wouldn’t be alive.

If anyone is able to help, I would be immensely grateful. I know it’s a tough time for everyone and I’m not expecting much. I just can’t give up on him.
