We’ve been deeply touched by how many people have reached out asking how they can help as we grieve the loss of our son, Tyger Elliot Robinson, who lost his life on April 8, 2025, in a car accident on WA State Route 9. To honor his spirit, we are commissioning a Roadside Memorial Sign at mile post 14.81 Northbound—the place where his journey ended. We hope this sign will keep his presence alive for those who loved him and remind drivers to slow down and stay alert.

Tyger was endlessly curious, talented, and full of heart. He had a natural gift for understanding machines, a mischievous sense of humor, and a selflessness reflected in the way he always showed up for others. He helped so many people—friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues—simply because he saw a need and wanted to make someone’s day a little easier. His absence is felt deeply by everyone who knew him.

Along with the memorial sign, we are continuing to grow the scholarship we created in Tyger’s name, supporting budding mechanics who share his passion for learning, building, and helping others. This scholarship allows us to carry forward the kind of support Tyger offered so naturally throughout his life.

Our goal of $3,500 will cover the cost of producing and placing the memorial sign, including 10 years of upkeep, and will also contribute to the scholarship fund to help a deserving mechanic begin their career.
