Tyga Kitten Diagnosed With FIP
Donation protected
Unfortunate to say, recently our local veterinary declared Tyga to be incurable, but Tyga here is not only mine but our whole family’s furry bestfriend. We took him in when he was just a little kitten and automatically noticed he was ill.. after taking him to the vet he was cured temporarily but continued to have minor symptoms here and there (nothing serious) for the last year. After multiple appointments, medications, injections, we were unable to find the answer to why Tyga was sick and still had a stuffy nose. We assumed it was allergies as it would come and go but today, February 1st 2023, after being very ill for quite sometime we decided to get some bloodworks done for him to see if we can findout and finish from this reoccurring issue. Sad to say but the issue turned out to be Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) which is fatal and has no current antidote to treat it available in the market and was recommended by the veterinary to put Tyga down. Not only was this unexpected but heart breaking for us all but. After doing research we discovered a possible cure which is not available to be prescribed from a veterinary but can be bought privately, at this point we want anything to save his life but it is very costly as its a 12 week treatment with a limited supply which can cost thousands of dollars. We all don’t want to lose our newest member of the family, had not even had his first birthday yet, please find some sympathy in your hearts for this poor guy and help us help him.
