HELP SAVE FRANKIE THE FRENCHIE!!!

8/4 update Frankie had ct scan done on Friday with Dr Reid.. and it was confirmed he has a tumor in nasal cavity..he is currently on an antibiotic called Chloramphenicol and a medication called Neurotrophin to try.

Hoping for an improvement.

He still will not eat nor drink on his own

I am feeding him liquids via syringe.

He was gifted a doggie playpen which is great for him so he can walk around freely and not get hurt.

Today marks day 4 on meds

Help Frankie the Frenchie continue living his Frenchbulldogdreams !!!

Upon visiting family in Florida 7/17 for a week.. I returned home to pick up Frankie from his vet/kennel to find him very thin looking..

I thought...Hmm...maybe its because I haven't saw him in a week.. .I paid for kennel fee...I carried him to my car...I drove away and made it 1 block <if that> I noticed he was not excited to see me..he began to whine uncontrollably as if he was in pain...I pulled over and upon getting him out of car he was very very wobbly.

I immediately called the vet that he was kenneled at..which he has had same vet for 7 years now..I informed them what was going on.. I brought him back immediately within 15 minutes of picking him up...I called each day to check status of what was going on...One day I was told bloodwork shows elevated liver enzymes and he would be sent home with vitamins and was going to be fine...The next day upon calling I was told the dr would talk to me when I picked him up.. He stayed there Tuesday 7/22 ...and I picked him up on Friday 7/25.

Upon picking him up the vet had me go into his office to talk to him and informed me that he is fairly certain Frankie has a brain tumor. Frankie does not know how to eat...how to drink. He sticks his face in his bowls wanting and wishing he could . But he cannot eat or drink on his own. .To keep him hydrated I am giving him liquids via turkey baster ;)

He walks around the house in circles.. he wanders atound aimlessly..never sitting still...he puts his face in the corner/against the wall..neurological changes. .uncoordinated movements...stumbling.. he cannot be uncrated unless hes being watched.

Definitely heartbroken watching him go thru this. I have been on the phone for days making phone call after phone call talking to quite a few vets..sending them his records to figure out what to do next. or if they can handle his case.

He has an appt Friday at an office that will figure out what needs looked at. that does CT/MRI..in Spfd [only found 1 place here that is capable] I've also talked to Mizzou veterinary school and he may even end up there after referral.

I know all of this will not be cheap financially at all..
