Hi, my name is Kabanda Abel, and I’m a 26-year-old LGBTQ refugee and activist. I’m reaching out to you today because I’m facing a serious medical emergency—testicular torsion—and I urgently need your help to cover the cost of surgery and medical care.
As an LGBTQ refugee, I’ve faced countless challenges in my life, from discrimination and persecution to the struggle of building a new life in a safe environment. Despite these hardships, I’ve dedicated myself to activism, advocating for the rights and dignity of LGBTQ individuals in my community.
Now, I’m facing a new and urgent challenge. I’ve been diagnosed with testicular torsion, a painful and time-sensitive condition that requires immediate surgery to prevent permanent damage. Without this surgery, I risk losing a testicle, which could have long-term consequences for my health and well-being.
As a refugee, I don’t have access to the financial resources or healthcare coverage needed to pay for this critical surgery. The cost of the procedure, hospital stay, and aftercare is beyond what I can afford on my own. I’m humbly asking for your support to help me get the medical care I need to recover and continue my work as an activist.
Your generous contribution will go directly toward:
1. The cost of surgery to correct the testicular torsion.
2. Hospital fees, medications, and post-operative care.
3. Any additional medical expenses related to my recovery.
Every penny counts, and no amount is too small. Your support will not only save my life but also allow me to continue fighting for the rights of marginalized communities.
I know that times are tough for many people, and I’m incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. Your kindness and generosity means the world to me, and I promise to pay it forward by continuing to advocate for those who need a voice.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks to help spread the word. Together, we can make a difference.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kabanda Abel
