Hi my name is Mandy and I’m starting a Go Fund Me to help me get back on my feet again! I am also asking for help for my Husky Girl Kiara.

I have tried my best to not make this account but I’ve gotten as far as I’ve been able to on my own and with help from a few family and friends. However, I am getting deeper into debt while trying to move forward with my life.

Two years ago my life unexpectedly flipped upside down. It was a normal morning, I gave my “Babe” a kiss goodbye and best wishes for a great day ahead! Little did I know that would be the last kiss I would give and the last time we would speak.

That afternoon while at work Aaron had an uncontrollable brain hemorrhage, followed by a stroke and two heart attacks. I was not aware this was happening as I was at work. After my work shift on my way home I was contacted by one of Aaron’s coworkers who advised me to get to the hospital immediately.

When I arrived at the hospital I was informed of Aaron’s current state that he was unresponsive and his prognosis was- he was inoperable…. Aaron was gone!

Thankfully his insurance helped take care of the needs of his children. Unfortunately because we were not married and there is no common law benefits or rights, I did not qualify for any survivor benefits so all of our bills solely became mine.

Because of this traumatic event I suffered a mental breakdown and with PTSD was unable to work. I lost Aaron, i lost the relationship with his children, I lost our home, I lost my job, I lost the life I was living…. I lost a lot of myself.

I have spent the last two years getting the healthcare I needed to get back on my feet. I am now back at work and have a great job!! I have an apartment lined up and am looking into resources to help with the deposit- but I’m running out of time. I don’t want to lose this opportunity. I need help!

During this time I have managed to keep Aaron and my two Huskies- Loki & Kiara. Currently Kiara is suffering from a major skin infection. I took her to the vet for treatment and the vet explained the severity of her skin issue. Her ongoing treatment will take up to two months. With her upcoming vet exams, medications, treatments and expenses I need help!

I would appreciate any and all help that this Go Fund Me can provide. It has been a difficult two years, but I am determined to succeed in getting my life together again!
