We stand with Ukraine

Dear ones,

as you may read this, a war is unfolding more and more on the Ukrainian territory. Cities are destroyed, thousand of lives are ended in a glimpse of an eye and heartbreaking stories of pain, loss, death are written in the heart and eyes of millions of adults and children. The concept of “war” what is so abstract to most of us, became a close companion for some of us.

Let us stand together, let us put our hands together to support, to empathise, to make a difference, to bring that much needed help for those in need.

We are a small group of international friends, who live in Germany but share many connections to Ukraine and Eastern-Europe. We came together, shortly after the Russian attack, being contacted by friends and families in Ukraine in need of medication and supplies, so we started to support them in every possible way. We bought thanks to small donations all the medicine needed and had it shipped as quickly as possible to Ukraine. We also helped friends from Ukraine to flee together with their small children and find their way safely to Germany. As the war is still ongoing, many lives being threatened by it, further more urgent bigger requests are coming in.

So here we are, asking for your support.

With the funds that we collect we buy medicine for injured people, for chronically ill patients and for emergency units. Also we respond to requests for supplies like food incl. baby items and help for refugees. All the packages we sent to Ukraine are transported by volunteers, who on their way back will offer to refugees an opportunity to travel to Germany.

Our help is immediate and pragmatic.

We are dedicated to respond as quick as possible to all requests coming in and we will keep doing this as long as requests reach us. Every small effort makes a difference to the lives affected by this war.
