Meet Reese Kressin, brother, son, uncle, friend, nephew and boyfriend. Reese is 23 years old and so full of life. He strives to be a better person every day and truly enjoys helping people.
On Monday, May 4th, 2015 Reese was in a horrible motorcycle accident, colliding with a truck. He immediately was flown by flight for life to the hospital. His family was told that he had a broken neck, swelling of the brain, and his lungs looked like someone who has COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) among many other injuries. He went straight to surgery for internal bleeding. It looked very bleek.
It's been a little over 48 hours and he has had so many scans, test, procedures, and tubes stuck in everywhere. He is on the ventilator and has a long road ahead of him.
We don't have an exact amount of how much he will need, but with the flight for life, unknown amount of time in the ICU and unknown amount of time in the hospital, surgeries, tests and other procedures, the inability to work for who knows how long and the unknown future procedures, surgeries, rehabilitation, etc. will add up quick.
Reese is so young, so full of life and love. It is heartbreaking to see him down for the count. He is the best boyfriend you could ever ask for, he'll do anything to see a smile on her face. He is the ever present, fun-loving uncle; his nephew Kobe has been repeating for the past two days, "Reese OWIE." Reese's two younger brothers are as tough as they get, but it's hard for them to hold in the tears. His sisters love him so very much and cant wait to talk to him.His parents have been leaning on faith and hope throughout this trying time.
The fact that Reese is still alive and pushing through this is nothing short of a miracle. We hope that you can find it in your hearts to donate to Reese. Anything at all will help, and if you are unable to give money at this point in your life we just ask that you keep him in your prayers.
