Curtis Redwood was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Papa, Uncle, Friend and 12th Man.  He always knew how to lift you up when feeling down, and freely gave advice to those who asked, but with the caveat, "you don't have to do it, but think about it".  He loved his children, nieces, nephews and grandkids; and had plans to host sleepovers and barbecues once COVID gave us back our lives again.

But we didn't get our lives back in time. Despite the success of his heart surgeries in the last several months, and his energy and demeanor returning to what we remember from years ago, we lost Curtis, on Christmas Eve, from a sudden heart attack. 

Unfortunately, because of the surgeries, and the dialysis treatments to keep his kidney going until a new one could be obtained, paying the increased Life Insurance premiums (during COVID of all times) fell to the wayside.

Because of this, the financial burden of those medical bills will all be falling on his wife Shawn's shoulders. His oldest, and best friend, Tim Hopkins has already stepped forward to help with the cost of the funeral arrangements, but Shawn is facing a giant debt on a single source income. She already has to face her home every day without him, we are hoping with help from those who knew and loved Curt, it's the biggest challenge she'll have to face. 

Therefore, we are creating this GoFundMe account in hopes that in lieu of flowers, we could get help with the grieving expenses.  If you are unable to donate, any prayers and thoughts, videos or photos, sent to the family would be greatly loved during this difficult time.  

Curtis, you will be greatly missed and we all love you.  You lived a great life, creating laughter for friends and family, and we all treasured those moments spent with you. We just wish we had more time to create more of those moments with You.
