The Skinner family has profoundly impacted the Eugene/Springfield community for generations. And Milo Skinner was a part of many circles of this community. From aviation to musicianship, web design to marketing - Milo’s handiwork and talent is everywhere.

Milo was tragically killed in a plane crash on September 7, 2015 while flying with his grandfather - a past-time they shared since Milo was a little boy. Milo was 35 years old.

Milo married the love of his life, Carri, on June 18, 2004. He proposed to her one New Years’ Eve at Sahalie Falls off of the McKenzie Highway. It was so fitting, as years of Milo & Carri hikes, adventures, kisses and photographs originated somewhere along the McKenzie.

Their 11 years of marriage included years of trekking across the United States to fulfill Milo’s dream of becoming a pilot, weekend getaways in Central Oregon, quiet evening dinners at their parent’s Cedar Flat home, concerts that Milo would play while Carri sat in the front row, and morning runs with their trusty dog, Indie. Their life together always included lots of people - family, friends, and friends that easily became family.

Now the community that they so greatly impacted together is invited to support Carri as she learns to live without Milo. Their friends are setting up an opportunity for you to help alleviate the financial burdens that come with such a tragic life change.
