In the first week of October, six-year-old Ty Lawson was rushed into surgery to remove a brain tumor. Ty's hospital stay include two more surgeries.  Through it all, mom and Dad, Charmaine and Andre, were at his side and friends, colleagues and family everywhere sent prayers and healing thoughts to this wonderful young family. 

It is with relief that we learned that the tumor was benign (non-cancerous) and that Ty's prognosis for a full recovery is excellent. He was able to go home after over two weeks in the hospital where he was greeted by Miles, a puppy who is going to be at his side as he heals and recovers.   

Fortunately, the Lawson's insurance will cover much of the medical expenses.  However, there are $7,800 in uncovered expenses and many incidental costs related to Ty's recover.
