UPDATE ( FEB 8th 2024)
I WAS ABLE TO SECURE HOUSING! My move in date is 02/12/2024, i put the last of my money towards the move in fees, admin fee, pet feee and transferring utilities in my name, any more I receive from this point forward goes to rent and supplies for my apartment such as food and toiletries
previously half of the money went toward maintenance on my car that broke down and without it i would not have been able to get a job / keep belongings in it, the rest went toward food while i was jobless and doctor appointments / medication as i’ve been diagnosed with severe asthma and allergies and my current housing situation (8 animals in the home) significantly worsened my conditioned and resulted in repeated respiratory infections, the money raised is the only thing that kept me afloat the previous year and i’m eternally grateful for it, if any other proof is needed please dm me on tumblr @ ardourie, thankyou once again for all the support and continued help!
UPDATE ( MAY 16th )
- I am officially homeless, my mother has kicked me out and made family members turn on me so i cannot go home, im in the process of going no contact, and unfortunately was unable to get the apartment I wanted, so I am still in dire need of permanent (longer than 6 months) / stable housing, if you know anyone in the bucks county area that can provide housing in exchange for rent 1k or below, or if you know anyone looking for a roommate please reach out to me, as always you can contact me on my tumblr : neotrances (no longer use this one) or my instagram : halodivinity
Hi, I’m tyler a black autistic trans guy with two cats ( salt and pepper ) attempting to secure permanent or semi permanent housing
My living situation is currently unsafe as my mother is extremely physically and verbally abusive as well as constantly taking money from me making it nearly impossible for me to save and leave.
Recently she has started threatening to kick me out frequently and saying she will harm me and my animals for talking back to her or not giving money or personal items when she ask, something she has done consistently in the past.
I am currently apartment hunting but anything I get from this fund will go directly towards rent and making sure I get safe housing so that i’ll be able to cut off contact with her for good or atleast minimally and safely. I have a job but a lot of my savings are going toward repairing my car which is putting a pause in me being able to send out more apartment applications ( because of the fees and instability in whether or not i’ll have enough for a security deposit ) But I desperately need to secure a place because living with my mother is unstable and my only other option would be homelessness.
I am also open to people that can offer housing or a roommate set up in the north philadelphia, burlington county NJ , or lower bucks county PA and surrounding areas ! I would be able to afford up to $1000 in rent and would highly prefer animal friendly apartments or people that don’t mind cats, I refuse to leave them behind.
