Ty Alley's road to recovery

This Go Fund Me is created to help my little brother Ty. Many of you who know Ty, know that he loves anything that has a motor in it. He’s compassionate, loving, kind and loves being adventurous. He enjoys helping others and loves his friends and family.
On Sunday March 24th my brother was in a serious motorcycle accident at Sand Lake that left him with multiple injuries. My parents received the horrific phone call no parent ever wants to receive. They were told Ty had several EMT’s aiding in his care and Ty was being life flighted to OHSU. He suffered a collapsed lung, Grade 4 liver laceration, 4 facial fractures and 2 broken ribs. He spent 10 days in the Intensive Care Unit and is currently in the Trauma ward at OHSU. His recovery has been slow. He’s had 2 surgeries to coil off 2 arteries to stop his internal bleeding, multiple blood transfusions, 3 liters of blood drained from his abdomen, a feeding tube placed and removed because nutrition is unable to pass thru his intestines and is currently receiving nutritional IV fluids through a PICC line. He has an NG tube placed to drain bile from his stomach as well. He’s had daily x-rays, CT scans, and a HIDA scan of his liver. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and possibly future surgeries for his liver injury. My Mom and Dad have been at his bedside day and night. We are grateful for everyone’s prayers and support during this difficult time.
As a family, it’s not natural for us to ask for help. We understand not everyone is able to donate, but prayers and thoughts are always welcomed to our family. We’re extremely thankful to those that are able to give us a hand during this very difficult time.
