We are Katrina and Dustin Miller, Elizabeth's parents. We never thought we would be in a position to have to ask for help, but here we are. We are asking for some help from our wonderful friends, family and community with our daughters medical and travel expenses. In June of 2022 Elizabeth was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Vasculitis and a Heart condition where the appendage on her heart is about ¾ the size of her heart and drawing blood away from its normal path causing racing heart (tachycardia) and dizziness. At just 15 she hasn’t really had a chance to be a normal teen due to the pain she is constantly in from the Fibromyalgia and vasculitis that causes her to be tired all the time. July 6th of 2022 she under went her 1st heart ablation procedure to redirect the blood unfortunately it and the , 2nd procedure in November of 2022 were unsuccessful resulting in her being on heart medication, She had 3rd ablation procedure June 7th of 2023. This final ablation procedure has seemed to be successful unfortunately its a waiting game now to see how her heart continues to reapond. We return to see her cardiologist in May of 2024 as long as nothing new develops. Elizabeth's heart case is a very unusual one and her pediatric cardiologist at UC Davis has consulted with many other leading cardiologist around the world. We have been blessed with fairly good insurance but unfortunately all the little things are piling up, and we’re struggling to stay ahead of the bills. We know times are hard for everyone and we hate to ask for any charity. We are usually on the giving side of things and have been truly blessed by the amount of prayers and positive thoughts. We truly appreciate anything even just a share of this post. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Katrina and Dustin Miller
