Support Debbie in Her Healing Journey
Our friend Debbie needs our help. She has spent her life caring for others—as a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, business owner, massage therapist. And community supporter. Now, she’s facing serious health challenges and financial hardships, that have made it impossible to work.
Why Debbie Needs Our Help
Debbie has been undergoing major dental work for years. This past summer, she was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia—a debilitating condition that requires ongoing medications and treatment. In February, she also underwent Carpal Tunnel surgery due to long-term work-related injuries as a massage therapist. Her recovery includes extensive physical therapy so can regain strength and return to the work she loves.
Most urgently, Debbie was recently diagnoses with Cervical Cancer. Starting in April, she will begin chemotherapy and radiation. True to her spirit, she has also been incorporating alternative treatments—acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, ozone therapy, infrared sauna, energy work and targeted nutrition—to reduce the effects of cancer and chemo and radiation therapy.
Since January, Debbie has been unable to work at Monarch Spa or see her massage clients, a career she is deeply passionate about. She misses her lovely clients and coworkers. She looks forward to the day she can return to the work she loves, but for now, she needs our help.
