Stuart Bennett Fundraiser

*We're hoping to surprise Stu on the night of his charity ball*
Please donate to help raise as much as possible for Stu's long road to recovery. As many of you may know, in February 2022 Stuart was diagnosed with a Chondrosarcoma in his right femur. A Chondrosarcoma is a rare primary bone cancer. Due to the complexity of his diagnosis, Stuart had to be treated in the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. On the 21st March 2024, Stuart had major surgery in Birmingham whereby a shark bite excision was carried out to remove the sarcoma which had wrapped itself around Stuarts’ femur. This meant that he was left with only 10mm of his original femur and in its place, had a human bone donor from California. Stuart continues to make regular journeys to Birmingham and Carmarthen Hospital to meet with specialists to monitor his health and for physiotherapy. The money raised will go directly to Stu to assist with his ongoing treatment and recovery, travelling to Birmingham, private hydrotherapy sessions and any physio equipment Stu needs to get him back to full recovery.
Thank you!
