Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I’m raising money for my father’s medical expenses. For people who don’t know my father, he has been working for a chip truck company for the past 15 years. Today November 28, 2022, I received a phone call from my mom telling me that my dad was in a severe semi-truck accident. The accident happened at 5am at a bridge on the outskirts of a small town called Pe Ell, Washington (Mile marker 25). My father was heading back from Raymond when he hit a patch of black ice right before going over a bridge. Once he hit that patch of black ice he lost complete control over his semi-truck, and ended up going off a cliff. When the semi-truck went off the cliff the truck started rolling down the hill with my father inside. Luckily my father was ejected through the windshield into a pile of wood chips, while the semi-truck continued to roll down hill. My father was able to dig his upper body out of the pile of wood chips but was unable to fully pull himself out because he had no feelings in his legs. My father was able to scream for the help he needed. Luckily a good samaritan heard the crash and stopped to see if everyone was okay. That is when he found my father and immediately called for help. My father was then air lifted to the Vancouver Hospital in critical condition. He was found to have bleeding on the brain, broken ribs, a tore ACL, and he broke both knees. He was then told he is in need of multiple surgeries and is getting one done tomorrow. My mother is extremely worried about my father especially since she can not visit him because she herself has COVID. I, too am unable to go and visit my father because I am currently in AIT for the military. I am trying everything I can to be reunited with my father in his time of need. I will be posting updates for those who would like be updated.

With medical expenses rising and my father being the only one supporting our family financially, we are asking from you all to help in any way possible.
