Help me get a car

Hello, I'm Lisa. ^_^ I'm a 38 year old, chronically ill, married woman who just found out that I'm pregnant (for the first time in my life) and desperately needs a car.

Many of you know that I glad (and often) donate to everyone else's causes, and I really didn't want to do this, but it appears that now, it might be a necessity. :/

My husband and I have saved a small nest egg up, and more than likely, that small nest egg will go to baby delivery fees, doctor stuff, and what have you.

We are getting insurance as of Jan (the state of CA won't less us get it before then 9_9 ) and the good news is that Prenatal care will be free until the day of the birth. ^_^ So nothing that I go in for until delivery day will cost...but if anyone knows anything about CA, the delivery could be extremely expensive. O_O

Never the less-

We have one working car between us, and it's an "enormous" tank of a truck. Cory is 6 foot 5, and needs this kind of vehicle, I'm 5'4 and "round" (hahaha) and after a few months pregnant, I'm not even sure that I will be able to get into this vehicle anymore as the step up into the truck is like four feet on it's own. -_-

We've done some looking around here and there, and sadly, unless a miracle happens and someone gives us a car, or something, some of the "cheapest" used cars available are about 6-7,000$ <sigh> I was really hoping to just throw down about 2 grand and get a used car... I'll need it later on for Doctor's visits and just taking care of myself.

I've never done a gofundme before, so I'm still learning how it works a bit... but, yeah. I'm hoping to get enough money to put something down by April / May. :)
