On December 15,2014, Chastity Robicheaux-Harris (AKA) Chas was involved in an automible accident . She suffered a traumatic brain injury, multiple broken bones, abrasions and lacerations. We can not stop Praising God for all that He has done for Chas!!! Because of Him she is alive and and making progress every day. She has sucessfully come through seven surgeries and has overcome several eposides of a stress response activity called Storming which resulted in her being placed in ICU and monitored closely numerous times . She is currently an inpatent at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Houston Medical Center where she is recieving excellent care. Her day consists of physcial ,speech and occupational therapy. She listens to music, communicates using Yes/No cards and now in the initial stages of making sounds to regain her voice.
She was employed at LBJ Hospital in Houston, Texas at the time of the accident. We are thankful that her employee benefits up to this point have covered most of her medical expenses. The family is now seeking other avenues to continue the excellent care and rehabilitation that she needs. Even though Chas is showing significant improvement, her journey is far from over. The family is asking for donations to assist with Chas medical care.
Thanks for your support and your prayers.
