This is our great friend Laura and her 2 beautiful daughters. On August, 2012, Laura was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

What is ALS?

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness, paralysis, and ultimately, respiratory failure.

Currently there is no cure for ALS but we can all band together and help with the growing medical expenses and home modifications that are needed to help Laura be more comfortable.
