My strong determination comes from the very strong, personality of my father ... I have rarely ever met a person more fearless and courageous than my father. Reaching out to friends and family due to my Dads cancer progression. His chemotherapy has pretty much run it’s course. The oncologist referred Dad to clinical trials at a Scottsdale research institute. Clinical trials are the final step in a long process that begins with research in a lab. Before any new treatment is used with people in clinical trials, researchers work for many years to understand its effects on cancer cells in the lab. They also try to figure out the side effects it may cause. There have been amazing success stories once the clinical trials have begun for stage 4 cancer patients. My Dad will begin these clinical trials next week There is a cost due to his insurance, however we are moving forward and hopeful. Please pray for him and our family.
