help matthew get top surgery!

hey everyone! my name is matthew ferge and i am a transgender man from muncie, indiana. im a student at ball state university, and im studying costume design in the department of theatre and dance. i am raising funds today to cover a portion of my transgender top surgery. i am currently looking at dr. daniel medalie in ohio, and am anticipating the cost to be $7500-$8500. any donation towards this cost would be insanely helpful, and it would relieve a lot of financial stress for myself and my family.

i knew from a very early age that i was different than the other children around me; when i looked in the mirror i never felt like i was looking at myself. at the age of 13, i learned about transgender people and suddenly everything made sense. i was a boy living in the wrong body.

after years of anguish and depression, struggling with body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria, and hiding who i am, i was able to come out to my friends and family and start hormone replacement therapy by taking testosterone. although this has greatly improved my quality of life, top surgery is a life-changing and important part of my transition.
