Cas Surgery

Donation protected
We had adopted Cas (previously Flicka) from Rescue One at the end of October 2019. When Rescue One found him he had been shot and had to have his eye removed. In the middle of January Cas had started have extreme pain that appeared to be in the jaw area preventing him from opening his mouth and caused him extreme pain. Thankfully it only lasted two days. The second flair up he had lasted over a week and a half. Same symptoms, but they did not improve after repeating the same treatment. After get two CTs done and visiting the veterinary hospital at Mizzou it has been established that he has developed an abscess in his orbital socket where his eye has been removed. It has been likely cause from left of debris. The plan is to open the socket and remove as much abscess tissue as possible along with as much foreign materiel as possible. They also believe the salivary gland located in the socket will need to be removed. We have had another flair up since our vet visit.
The funds will be used to help pay for the surgery and hospital stay. Whatever is left I will donate to Rescue One. I have already paid more than $1500 for all of the medication and steps to get us this far, and due to me starting radiology school in the fall I will not be able to setup a payment plan because I know I will not have the funds to pay it down the line while I'm in school. Cas is the sweetest boy and any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want to give him the best life possible. My hope is that doing this surgery will leave him problem free. Thank you very much!
