Hello friends,

For the past few months, I’ve been getting involved with local animal rescues here and have seen firsthand just how overwhelming the animal situation is.

Times are tough for everyone, and in Mexico that often means abandoned pets and overcrowded shelters struggling to keep up.

For my birthday this year I want to give back to this amazing community, I’m humbly asking for help; with the help of my international friends we can change the trajectory of these incredible women who are dedicating their lives to rescuing animals in need:

Daniela – A young single mom of two living just north of the city. She has taken in 12 street dogs who wouldn’t have survived without her. While she’s now looking for work, she’s struggling to cover the cost of food and vet care. She dreams of getting these dogs healthy and adopted, but right now she needs support to feed them and keep them safe as she looks for work to support her two sons.

Regalando Esperanza – A small rescue run by two amazing women who are currently caring for 63 dogs and cats. They’re running out of food and money, and without help, some of these animals could end up back on the streets. They urgently need food, vet support, fosters, and f homes for the animals.

My goal is to raise 40,000 pesos (about $3,000 CAD) to split between these rescues. Every dollar will go directly to food, vet bills, and helping more animals find loving homes.

Even a $5 makes a huge difference:

$5 can feed a dog for days.

$20 can cover vaccines or medications.

$50 can help with spay/neuter surgeries that prevent more animals being born into suffering.
