Two surgeries in 37 days

Donation protected
Hi I’m Jennifer and on March 14 I started feeling strong pains in my left side. I went to the doctor on March 17 where he ruled out a bladder infection and sent me for an ultrasound. While waiting for those results over the weekend, the pain got so bad I headed to the ER. They ruled out all the scary possibilities but said they didn’t know why I was in pain and sent me home with ibuprofen. On Monday I got the call that it was an endometrioma (I named it Edna) and surgery was scheduled for two weeks later. In surgery, she discovered that in addition to the endometrioma, my ovaries were attached to my uterus with scar tissue. She separated them and wrapped them in medical cheese cloth to keep them from re-adhering. For one glorious week after surgery, I was pain free (besides the expected surgery pain). Then the pain started again. My doc wanted to give it a month to see if it would resolve itself but two weeks later, I called to let them know the pain was getting worse and affecting my ability to work in the office all day. She called me in for another ultrasound and decided I needed to have another surgery, this time to remove the offending ovary (named Ophelia by popular vote). After my appendectomy last year, I upped my FSA contributions but I absolutely did not prepare for two back to back surgeries. It is unbelievably uncomfortable for me to ask for help but I just do not have the funds available for this. I am unable to work my part time job bartending until I can lift over 10 pounds and this will add another month out of that work. Every $1 donation gets me that much closer to paying the multiple bills. I will never be able to properly communicate my thanks if you decide to donate or share.
