This is a Griffith Film School graduate slate we hope to go and pitch to industry. This is the first multi-cam sitcom Griffith would have produced for graduate slates and we've assembled an incredible cast and crew to help bring life to this production.

Graduate slates are self funded through students and, let's face it, their parents. This fundraiser will raise funds that go towards building sets in the television studio, catering for our cast and crew and production/costume design. Every dollar will bring a smile to the creative teams face.

A little about the project...

Through a series of flashbacks and questions at a Comic Convention, Dallas Cantaga narrates his journey growing-up in the early 2000's to becoming a successful comic writer. Together with his sister Ella and friend Kaden, they embark on reckless adventures which inspire his stories.

We are filming the first pilot episode in what we hope could be a long running television show...

13-year-old Ella wakes in a hospital and convinces her 16-year-old brother Dallas to work with her in creating

a new business venture by creating a series of short comics to sell to their friends. Finding it Difficult, they do a small amount of research to try and create the perfect hero. Dallas wants his friend Kaden involved and Ella wants to run a series of experiments on him to create the perfect hero. Through an animated sequences Dallas and Ella create a scenario for their hero experiments. However, being a little ignorant and naive of the dangers, Dallas and Ella accidentally put Kaden in hospital from a heroic attempt.

At the hospital, Dallas and Ella decide they need to spend a night on the streets to find the inspiration they need to start their comic book. They dress up in terrible costumes and sneak out at night to find some action. Entering a convenience store arguing, an armed assailant comes in to rob the store. Dallas and Ella figure out how to help through animated versions of themselves disarming the assailant.

Sick of waiting, Dallas decides to spring into action and begins to throw whatever he finds laying around the store at the assailant. Chaos follows as Dallas and Ella tag team, leading the assailant around the store completely trashing it behind them before a drastic move has them feeling good about helping.

Back home in Dallas's bedroom, Dallas realises the hero's they need for their stories are themselves.

Explain to Ella that their sibling bond and friendship is enough to create epic adventures and stories together. As things start coming together, Ella collapses and the first episode ends.
