My name is Pelumi and I am reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. Like my dear friend Oredola Aduragbemi, I also live with sickle cell disease, so I understand the pain, the hospital visits, and the constant battle for good health. But right now, my friend is facing an even greater challenge—she is pregnant with twins while struggling with sickle cell complications in Nigeria
Pregnancy is already risky for women with sickle cell, but in a country with limited healthcare resources, the danger is even greater. She urgently needs medical care, proper nutrition, and financial support to ensure she and her babies make it safely through this journey. As someone who knows her struggle firsthand, I cannot stand by and do nothing. That’s why I am asking for your help.
Every donation—big or small—will go toward ensuring she gets the treatment, hospital care, and essentials needed to safely bring her twins into the world. Please join me in supporting a mother who is fighting not just for her life, but for the lives of her babies.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
