We have been feeding feral cat colonies in Concord, CA, 24/7 for years. We TNR (trap/neuter/release) feral cats and find homes for tame cats that arrive at our feeding sites. In cold winter months, the cats need more food to stay warm. This past year, with higher prices for cat food and gas and finding a record number of tame cats at our sites, We need more help than ever during winter months. Please donate if you can.
The kitty pictured on this fundraiser is Coco. She showed up at a feeding site in late August of this year. She was extremely skinny, hungry and nursing. She was very tame. I was able to pick her up to take her home. After she was spayed, she stayed with us to recover. With lots of good food and TLC, she was ready for her forever home. She was adopted in early November and is doing well. We were able to locate her one surviving kitten, who has also been adopted. During this fundraiser, I will highlight more of the thirteen-plus tame cats and kittens we found at sites this past year. Please help us continue caring for these cats at 11 different feeding sites. Thank you.
