Two Half Marathons for Sadie and Potter

This time last year I had been hoping to run the Omagh and Belgrade Half Marathons but just as I had started training Dad was diagnosed with cancer. As many of you know just 17 days later Dad passed away. As many of you also know just 12 days after that Malcolm and I lost our beautiful big dog Gruff. With my heart twice broken I was in no position to take up my challenge and so I decided to leave it.
Now a year later I have decided to take up the challenge I was set to do last year and attempt to run the Omagh Half Marathon on Saturday the 6th April followed by the Belgrade, Serbia Half Marathon 8 days later on Sunday 14th April. Since loosing Dad and Gruff, just over a year ago I have had many tough days but none come anywhere close to that of 2 disabled animals I will be running for. Their names are Sadie, a beautiful Golden Labrador and Potter a determined little moggy cat. Both of these animals have touched me deeply. They have suffered dreadful pain but every day they are determined to live life to the full as much as they possibly can. Those of you who knew Dad will know that he too lived of the same motto, never letting pain or his wheelchair stop him from doing anything he was determined to do. Maybe that’s why Sadie and Potter have touched me so much and why I would really love to raise £2000 to help provide them both with life changing treatment.
I know I’m always begging but if you could help me in any way at all to reach my target I would be delighted.
Thank you so much.
