Two half marathons for British Liver Trust

In September and October,I will be running the AJ Bell Great North Run and the Royal Parks Half Marathon in order to raise money for British Liver Trust in memory of my brother Ashley. Ashley passed away in 2017 as a result of liver failure which was caused by a rare blood condition. I would like to raise money and awareness for the British Liver Trust in the hope that people may have a better chance at surviving conditions like Ashley's.


Liver disease is the only major cause of death in the UK on the increase, causing one in ten deaths of people in their 40s.The British Liver Trust is the UK's leading adult liver health charity. Through our campaigning, helpline, support groups, publications and website we aim to increase awareness of all liver conditions including liver cancer, and improve early detection and treatment in order to save lives.
