Two Girls, Two Hopes- Jovana & Danica Jovanovic

Today I am telling you about two little girls, Jovana (3rd grade) and Danica (1st grade), whose lives recently completely changed. Their mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer, which has spread to the lymph nodes. She is in need of surgery and chemotherapy as soon as possible. Shortly after the news of their mother’s illness, their father had a major heart attack complicated further by severe brain damage and is currently in a coma. This is sadly only the beginning of this family’s hardships as both parents face an undetermined amount of time in the hospital.

 

Jovana and Danica are wonderful and loving girls who have been so brave and understanding through this major adjustment with only one concern on their mind—“how can we help our mommy and daddy get better?”

Information about the person running the fundraiser: 
My name is Dajana Jovicic I am 22 years old and a good family friend of the Jovanovic family. I have known these girls for years, watched them grow up, babysat them, attended their school events and more. I am from the North Canton/ Akron area close to where the girls reside which makes it convenient to lend a helping hand whenever in need. After realizing what this family was going through and the many hardships they started to face I decided to start a fundraiser through GoFundMe to include other families, friends, and helping hands that can play a part in supporting this loving family. As mentioned above these funds will be used to support the two lovely girls by paying for food, transport, school supplies and a place to stay. Since their mom is going through chemotherapy and facing a lot at this time she has asked me to help with this fundraiser by setting up withdrawals to my account and then giving them the funds raised, this will help with time and money management per her wishes. Again all donations are going directly to that family and they along with myself are very grateful and  happy for all the love and support.
