3rd June will see Dads Jim, Clive and their daughters Bess and Maddie cross the busiest shipping channel in the world in kayaks....that being the English Channel!

The thought of spending quality time with our daughters is almost upon us with the challenge is expected to take circa 8 hours, lots of Dad/Daughter bonding time!

Both girls have recently returned from Kenya where they spent time visiting two schools, Kingwede and Milalani, based near Diani in the south of Kenya. Both schools have limited facilities and teaching resources to support the children in their schools. This trip has had a profound impact on both Bessie and Maddie coming away having helped with construction and refurbishment of the school but most importantly supporting the pupils during lessons making a difference to their lives and the wider village communities.

Our £5,000 target will go a long way to help improve both schools significantly with improved teaching equipment, resources and upgrading of the classrooms which is much needed.

Thankfully Clive will be there to save Jim.....who has a strong track record of sinking most things that float!
