The One for Two PeeWee Farmer Barns

At Loveland Acres Farm we believe: nothing can replace being immersed in nature, the value of learning animal husbandry and all that comes with it, or the knowledge of how to grow, gather, and preserve your own food. But the reality is not all littles are presented with opportunities in these areas, nor treated equally within those opportunities. We are here to change that while empowering each and every little that steps on this land through multifaceted agricultural programming based around them, their interests, their abilities, their needs, and the stories they bring with them.

The foundations you give a child - in skills, diverse relationships, communication, etc. - directly impacts their adulthood. At Loveland Acres Farm we are working to help raise a beautifully diverse future generation that believes in:

*equity for all

*food sovereignty

*nurturing skills to sustain oneself and their community

*love and care of the natural world

*agriculture is meant for all to have access to and be a part of

What Loveland Acres Farm can achieve through your donation is:

(1) 14x40 PeeWee Poultry Farmer barn - this barn will be used to support the beloved Chickens & Littles program. A free home hatch program that connects little ones to agriculture through hatching chicks, returning them to the farm, and becoming a Master Hatcher that returns to help with poultry as a peewee poultry farmer. Total cost before accessibility additions and delivery: $10,444

(1) 14x40 PeeWee Learning Parlor barn - this barn will be used to support hands on learning activities and milking experiences year round while providing an overnight space for young farmers. Total cost before accessibility additions and delivery: $10,444

Handicap Accessibility - Accessible barns and paths, bathroom facilities, sensory areas, and more are important additions in meeting the needs of all littles coming to the farm to learn. The remaining $10,000 raised will be used for delivery of barns and to kickstart accessibility additions such as: specialized barn features, handicap accessible portable bathroom facilities, equipment to maintain path accessibility, and other additions to make the land, animals, and grow space available for all to interact with.

Together, in nourishing radical love, we can make agriculture accessible to those too often overlooked.
