Two 7 year olds protecting sea turtles in Greece
Donation protected
Cordelia and Molly are currently 7 years old and are ocean lovers as well as life long vegans. Full of curiosity, kindness, and love for nature, their friendship has lead them to persue challenges both at home and around the world. They have been accepted on to a very special Sea Turtle Conservation Programme in Greece, Kefalonia, in July 2026 — and they need your help to get them there!
We’re raising funds to cover Cordelia and Molly’s costs for this conservation trip, including:
Their children’s programme fees (£425 each).
✈️ Return flights. (which will be offset to be carbon neutral).
7 nights accommodation and meals during the project.
Essential snorkelling and beach kit, to include-
Warm changing robes
Properly fitted mask & snorkel
Fin socks
Reef safe vegan suncream
Rash guards
UV Polarised sunglasses
Water bottles with filter
Waterproof notebook
Sleeping bag hire
Drybag
Because the girls are only 7, they must be accompanied by adults, and the conservation project requires those adults to join the programme as full participants — at £525 per adult.
We are also fundraising to cover the three adult programme fees, allowing the grown-ups to legally and safely support the girls on-site.
We are not fundraising for the adults' flights, food or accommodation — just the minimum needed for them to attend in support of the girls.
These two young ocean-lovers will be planning their own fundraising events as well as learning all they need to know about the threats facing turtles and their habitats.
The project includes:
Protecting and monitoring endangered loggerhead sea turtles.
Taking part in beach and ocean clean-ups.
Snorkelling to monitor the health of sea grass meadows.
Learning how to offset their carbon footprint.
Why This Matters:
This trip is about more than travel — it’s about giving two children a hands-on education in marine conservation and climate responsibility. They’ll learn directly from marine biologists, contribute to vital work, and carry those lessons into the future. Your contribution, no matter how small, will help these determined children become ambassadors for turtles and the ocean.
The girls have decided that if they were fortunate enough to exceed the required donation amount, they would like to give any remaining funds to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation (formerly Sea Shepherd UK).
