We need your help to see complete breakthrough in Sarah’s life.
In July of 2016, my sweet, fun-loving, dear friend, Sarah, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and was told that she might not live past 2016. The doctors said that her tumors were innumerable and chemotherapy offered little to no hope. Traditional medical treatment was solely palliative. Sarah was only 34 years old at the time. She and her husband have three young boys to raise—one with special needs. The news was devastating, but Sarah was and continues to be a resilient fighter.
Throughout this trial, Sarah showed an absolute faith in God to carry her through. She has a love for life and everyone around her and sees every day as a gift to be cherished.
After her diagnosis, Sarah did what she knew would be best for her body. She dedicated herself to a healthy toxin-free lifestyle, and she received all-natural treatments–mainly IV Vitamin C, IV Ozone, and IV ALA, among lots of other supplements—anything that could boost her compromised immune system. The cost was astronomical, and she couldn’t have received these treatments without help from friends, family, and community who supported her financially.
Four months after her diagnosis, Sarah’s PET scan miraculously showed no active cancer—she went from being told that she wasn’t going to make it past 2016 to being cancer-free in just four months. Sarah continued with her therapies to keep her body strong. But the long-term costs of all the life-saving treatments were unsustainable. She eventually had to cut down on her IVs and supplements, as she was unable to afford them—trying to balance supporting her family and sustaining her treatments.
Then in December 2019, Sarah received bad news: the cancer was back and it progressed further up her spine, in her ovaries and liver. The traditional medical prognosis is poor. DRs are saying that time is not on her side, and we need your help.
Sarah is now looking at advanced options for alternative cancer care: the same state-of-the-art treatments that saved her life the first time, in addition to even more extensive immunotherapies that are not covered by her insurance. These treatments are offered in international hospitals in Mexico. Sarah needs to raise enough funds quickly to cover the cost of treatment, travel expenses, and long-term hospital stays.
So many of us have received help, grace, and support from our dear friend, but now, she needs us to come together to help in her fight against cancer.
To support Sarah, her husband, and her boys, please consider donating and sharing this GoFundMe page. Any donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
Sarah recently wrote to her friends and family on her Facebook page:
You have taught me to say, “Thank you.”
You have taught me to receive.
You have taught me to be still.
And I HAVE NEVER FELT ALONE.
Thank you for your generosity, and please know that Sarah and her family are extremely appreciative of you and feel very loved from the outpouring of support and encouragement they have already received. Together, we can make a difference in Sarah’s life and help her knock out cancer.
