My husband, James, was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue sarcoma cancer in November of 2014.  He has undergone extensive chemotherapy since that time and will be having surgery to remove multiple tumors from his abdomen and a specialized chemotherapy treatment in Houston, Texas within the next few months.  This will be followed by preventative chemotheraphy and radiation.  Due to the intensity of the treatment, he has been unable to work and faces an additional six month recovery from the surgery alone.  As his caretaker, I have also taken sick leave as we fight this battle together.  We are humbly requesting help for his future medical expenses not covered by insurance as well as expenses needed to travel to Texas, such as transportation and accomodations.  The surgery will require us to travel to Texas on four seperate occassions for consultations, followups, and surgery; with the surgery stay lasting a month.  Thank you for your compassion and help.
