You may ask why we have set up a GoFundMe Account?

Twirl-Versity Baton Twirlers is a non-profit organisation that work with athletes from the ages of 3 years up to 25 years. We do all we can to help with the costs of being a baton twirler and continuing to do what they love the most: baton twirling. As an organisation we appreciate the costs of competing, travelling, training, examinations, gradings, costume and all else that comes with such a sport. Therefore, we are always looking for new ideas and events in which we can put into place to help fundraise for our athletes and their families.

To this date our fundraising has helped;

We would like to continue our fundraising efforts to continue supporting our athletes and their families for the foreseeable.

Therefore, this GoFundMe account has been set up for people to pay their contributions for fundraising events into.

About Twirl-Versity Baton Twirlers

Twirl-Versity was established by myself, Jessica Whitbourn, and Sarah Collins back in 2018 with 5 athletes. The reason in which we originally formed this organisation was to help progress current twirlers to achieve their international dreams. Furthermore, we are now in 2021 and are approaching 40 budding baton twirling athletes in our organisation. We are apart of two baton twirling associations being; the BBTSA (British Baton Twirling Sport Association) and the BBTF (British Baton Twirling Federation).

We now have a fantastic team of coaches with World and National qualifications that are guiding our athletes in their baton twirling journeys. All our athletes work extremely hard day in and day out, some even every day of the week, to achieve their goals.

Our latest achievements include 21 National Champions and 2 Overall National Champions at the BBTSA National Championships 2021 in September.

Without support from our athletes, families and friends in our fundraising we would not be where we are today.

To continue supporting our athletes and their families and to enhance the love of our sport we will continue to fundraise as much as possible.
