Twins Lose Mom Suddenly- Face Major Life Changes

Just before the start of school in August of 2022 Pam Nelson was diagnosed with a form of terminal cancer. Less than two months later, on October 7, 2022, Deklan and Aiden lost their mom. For most of their lives, it has just been the 3 of them. Finding out your predominate parent has cancer is scary enough for any 15yr old to stomach but losing her before she got a chance to make a plan for their future has been shocking and heartbreaking.

Having no local family, a friend of Pam's stepped in to provide temporary housing and care to the kids, locate their father and arrange for the funeral service.

In addition to the profound sadness of losing their mom, they now face a second significant life change. They will be relocating to Florida to live with their father. While this allows them to develop a new stable relationship, they will now have a different parent, house, town, school, and even a state.

I am creating this gofundme to pay for the funeral service and to create a college trust for both Deklan and Aiden. I hope that having money set aside for their education will allow them to focus on healing their hearts and minds and not another worry.

They are amazing kids, great friends, kind, thoughtful and personable. They are also honor and AP students with strong academic and artistic skills with promising futures in whatever they choose to do.
