Twins born under bombardment

I am Hossam, 34 years old, and my wife Maryam is 29 years old. We have three children, Fathi, six years old, and Karma and Karim, five months old. We want to live and live life. We want peace and security. My wife gave birth to twins amidst the destruction and bombing, in the midst of blood and pain. Can you imagine giving birth to twins while the hospital you are in is falling down around you? We had to flee for our lives carrying two newborn babies. We have lost everything. Family and friends, all our belongings, our place of worship, and our hopes and dreams. We live in a tent with nothing to survive on. Not even diapers or formula for our babies. My son Fathi is terrified at all times. Six years old and he has witnessed much death. We are dying slowly. I ask you to find it in your hearts to have mercy on us and to donate to my family that we may live and leave Gaza. It is life or death to us.
