Twila’s Cancer Treatment

In November 2022, the week of Thanksgiving, we were hit with devastating news that my mom, Twila Barbieri was diagnosed with cancer. Through December, January and February she’s undergone radiation and chemotherapy. The therapy has yielded complicated medical results. There are concerns for her heart and digestive system which are all further complicated by her ongoing multiple sclerosis and required treatment. She is facing rising medical expenses and the potential for surgery. The current medical cost, after insurance has paid is a little over $10,500 and rising quickly.

Currently she owes $4,900.84 to Providence, $1,444.79 for prescriptions, $3,507.16 to Legacy, $697.76 to Oregon Clinic and there are several bills that have yet to arrive.

I’m so grateful she’s overcoming her battle but I would love to take some of the pressure off her as she continues the fight of her life so I am calling on our beloved friends, family and community to donate if they can.
