Twiggy's Recovery

Our dear little Twiggy is a rescue kitten who was found stuck and hanging by her leg from a fence in Brooklyn NY during the evening of April 27th, 2017.
After spending a week in a caring shelter, PS9 Pets in Williamsburg Brookyln, we adopted her to give her a loving forever home. Twiggy has been purring and happy from the moment she arrived to our house over the weekend. Her favorite activities are snuggling on the couch, chasing crinkly balls and giving kisses.
Twiggy's right hind leg sustained traumatic injuries from her incident, and she is suffering extreme nerve damage. After a week of Epsom salt baths, and bandages we received the news that Twiggy's leg has to be amputated in an emergency procedure.
With less that 24 hours notice, this costly procedure had to be done as soon as possible to prevent infection from spreading throughout her 1.5 LB tiny body. Twiggy has already given our family so much love and affection in the 4 days she has been home with us.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated! We will give Twiggy such a happy life, that she wont even realize she has 3 legs!
It truly breaks our heart to imagine our little Twiggy suffering or in pain, and cannot wait to have her back home with us as she recovers and has her happiest, healthiest life. We can't wait to have Twiggy happy and healthy again!
