Twenty Dollars for Twenty Years

Donation protected
Lyman Class of 1998 Alumni,

As part of our twentieth reunion celebration, we are launching the “Twenty Dollars for Twenty Years” campaign to honor Mandy Bradshaw and support her family.

Many of you will remember Mandy. She was funny, smart, and warm—and a friend to many of us. In 1999, Mandy was involved in a catastrophic car accident that left her with serious cognitive impairments. Since then, she has required full time care. Her mother and full time caregiver, Pamela Bradshaw, died in 2010. The responsibility of caring for Mandy and ensuring that she can stay at home now falls to her father, Rick.

Let’s do what we can to support our classmate. If you can afford to give twenty dollars in her honor, please do. If you can afford more, give more. And please spread the word. We know that there are many people who care about Mandy beyond our graduating class.

All proceeds from this campaign go directly to the Mandy Bradshaw Fund, which is administered by Ruth Sapp on behalf of her family. If you would like to contribute funds to provide financial assistance to Rick Bradshaw (for meals, home essentials, and perhaps even a few days of rest), please go here.

The GoFundMe campaign is administered by Katherine Groo (kegroo at gmail dot com) and Lauren Chianese (lechianese at gmail dot com). Please feel free to send questions our way.
