Unfortunate event

Hello, I am creating this go fund me because I was in a horrible head on collision while driving with a friend, while visiting family from out of state. Some one was texting and being impatient passed on a real curvy road and ran right into me and my friend. I am now dealing with massive injuries, I had to be cut out of the car.. and can't go to work. I had to use what money I did have to buy a ticket to get home since my neighbor had been checking on my kitty while I was gone. I have rent and all my bills due and have no way to pay them since I can't go to work, and medical bills are piling up. I feel so lost after all of this. 

I have a personal injury lawyer starting the case but he advised me that this could take a bit and maybe i could reach out to my community. I know people are Leary of go fund me but I am legit and am only asking because I've tried all other methods first as directed by my legal team. I am bummed that I have to ask for help but I don't want to loose my home because of someone texting and  being impatient while on the road driving. This has completely turned my world upside down. I never thought I'd ever be in a major head on collision.
