When people you love receive a devastating diagnosis and all you want to do is find a way to fix everything but don't know where to start... that is why I am here asking you for help. I have known the Cayemberg family since my teenage years. Adam and Crystal are cousins to one of my very dear lifelong friends who lost her battle to cancer in 2019. Since then, Crystal and I have been reconnected through our girls. To know the Cayembergs is to know love, commitment, family, up north, racing, and did I mention FAMILY?!
You know when you look at someone and you just know the next few sentences are going to be heartbreak? That was Thursday, November 7. Crystal and her family found out that Adam has cancer. Adam. How can this 35-year-old dad of a beautiful little girl be facing this horrible diagnosis?
Adam has Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has metastasized to lymph nodes and his liver. The tumors are currently inoperable due to the size and locations. He is beginning chemotherapy treatment in town in hopes of shrinking the spots on his liver. Medical care and treatment may require Adam to travel to Mayo (Minnesota) or MD Anderson (Texas). He will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Your support will help alleviate the stress of medical bills, fuel, and care for his daughter. Please consider donating if you are able.
